A Note from Russell
To My Black, LGBTQIA, Immigrant, Brothers and Especially The Women and Sisters Among Us;
Tonight, I want you to know, from the depth of my heart, that I see you. I share in your grief. I see your struggles, your pain, and the weight that so many of us carry—and now more than ever too heavy to even imagine how we’ll move going forward. But I also see your resilience, your strength, your determination and your unbreakable spirit.
I truly care and i want you to feel reassured of that, even in these difficult,uncertain times, you’re not alone. We have each other. In a world, —an America— that feels cold and uncertain, it is our love for one another that will light the way.
May we come together now more than ever beyond the labels of race,gender or sexuality —not just as Black people, or LGBTQ, or immigrants, or women—but as humans, as a community united in our shared humanity.Let us remember that this connection is stronger than any division the world tries to impose. Let us lift each other up, hold the door open for one another, and believe in the good that still exists in this world.Better days are ahead, and together, we will find them!
May we keep the flame of hope burning bright,steady for those who need it most —especially those who feel lost or weary. You are not alone in this fight—we are in this together, and we will keep moving forward, one step at a time.
Please,let’s love each other fiercely—and remember to love ourselves even more fiercely! Let’s be kind, let’s be brave, and above all, let’s be there for one another and show up in the ways our loved ones need us most. The road ahead may be uncertain, but together, we can make it.
You are seen! You are loved! You are worthy! And you are never alone!!
With all my love,
Russell
